Junior Choir: Grades 7-12

​​Singing at Mass is a terrific way to gain self-confidence and enhance your own experience of Mass at the same time that you are enriching it for others. Come join us! It's fun!

NEW: Junior Choir will rehearse on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30P this year. (Exact time to be decided by members. If you'd like to join but this day/time does not work for you, please email Maria White @ cantoncatholic.org)
They will sing weekly at the 12:00 PM and occasionally at the 10:00 AM Mass on Sundays, as well as for Christmas Eve, Easter, and other liturgical celebrations.


They have the opportunity to attend the yearly Pueri Cantores Catholic Choir Festival at the cathedral every year.

Congratulations to our St. Oscar Romero Junior Choir!

Current and former members participated in the Pueri Cantores Festival, an all-day festival for Catholic Youth Choirs, at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston. 

They were one of only two choirs who were offered the opportunity to sing a prelude alone as a group before the Mass at the end of the day! Fun fact: Since we are currently the first and only St. Oscar Romero Parish in the entire archdiocese, this was the first time any group with that name has sung at the cathedral in its entire history!

The final Mass, with Bishop Reed presiding, was live-streamed to Catholic TV.

Our thanks to one of our JC parents for this 2nd video. Fortunately, as in most churches, the front rows are always empty! While the beginning is missing, the vantage point and balance is better.
